My name is Katherine Smith, and I am the producer of the #505 Fashion Show in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the largest annual fundraiser supporting Locker #505 Student Clothing Bank.

About Locker #505:

Locker #505 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that every student in New Mexico has access to clean, appropriate, confidence-boosting clothing for school. At our student-centered facility, children are able to try on and select outfits they feel proud to wear.

When students have the clothing they need, they can focus on what truly matters: their education. Proper clothing not only boosts confidence, but also reduces absenteeism for students who may otherwise feel unable to attend school.

Each student that visits Locker #505 Student’s Clothing Bank receives a minimum of 5 complete outfits, 5
pairs of new underwear and 7 pairs of new socks, new pair of shoes and a jacket according to the season. The
students also have the option of selecting books, toys or stuffed animals.

At Locker #505, our mission is simple yet powerful: to help every student stay in school, thrive, and ultimately graduate. These students are the future of our community, and it is our responsibility to ensure they are given every opportunity to succeed.

About the #505 Fashion Show:

Launched in 2020, the #505 Fashion Show began as a small idea and quickly grew into a transformative event. Today, designers from across the country bring brand-new collections exclusively for our runway, designers whose work has appeared in Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, and major fashion weeks worldwide.

Over the years, this show has expanded into a sold-out event with a 400-person audience, more than 100 models, and a strong reputation for merging high fashion with the vibrant culture and unity of New Mexico. Each year, the show becomes bigger and more impactful.
