My best friend Morgan Bandy and I founded A&M Collective Events with a shared passion for bringing people together for meaningful causes. What began as an event planning business focused on coordinating small events—such as showers, weddings, corporate events, and more—has grown into a powerful platform for creating meaningful, community-driven experiences that give back.

In 2023, we met with the CEO of Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc.. During that meeting, it became immediately clear that their mission—to provide safety, advocacy, and support for individuals affected by domestic violence—was one worth championing. From that moment forward, A&M Collective Events committed to creating an event that would directly support and uplift this incredible organization.

Then came the birth of The Galentines Gala. What started as a small, intimate Galentine’s gathering between friends quickly grew into something much more. Morgan and I felt a strong desire to expand that experience so women across the community could feel the same empowerment, connection, and love that filled the room during those early celebrations.

From that vision, The Galentines Gala was born—an empowering, high-energy event designed to bring women together while raising critical funds for those in need. As the event grew in both attendance and impact, we established The Galentines Gala Co., with one sole purpose: to raise essential funds for nonprofit organizations making a difference.

To continue growing our impact, we are proud to introduce the Steps For Safety 5K & Kids Fun Run—an extension of our mission to engage the community in new and meaningful ways while raising additional funds for Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc..
