Clothing Swap Georgia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in November 2025 with a mission to provide free clothing to families across Georgia while keeping perfectly good clothing in circulation and out of landfills.

Our free clothing swaps are welcoming community events open to everyone. In 2026, we hosted 11 swaps and served more than 500 families, with additional clothing shipped directly to families in need throughout Georgia.

What makes our swaps special is the sense of community they create. People bring clothing they no longer need and have the opportunity to see it go directly to others in their community, rather than simply dropping it off at a donation center and never knowing where it ends up. Our events bring together people from all walks of life—neighbors who love finding a great new piece, families looking for clothing for their children, and generous community members who want to pass along clothing they no longer wear.

We believe clothing should be shared, not wasted, and that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate in a community where people can both give and receive. By connecting families who have clothing to share with families who can use it, we are creating a more sustainable and connected Georgia—one clothing swap at a time.
