My name is Julian Reed, and I’m the Event and Creative Director of the All-American Koi Show. I’ve dedicated myself to elevating this show into one of the most unique and culturally rich koi events in the country. For me, it’s not just a competition—it’s a full experience. I focus on bringing together koi excellence, global community, modern culture, and high-level production to create a festival that people talk about long after the weekend ends.

My background is in creative direction, brand development, event production, and community engagement, and I use all of that to build AAKS from the ground up each year. I’m hands-on with everything—sponsorship strategy, vendor relations, marketing, layout design, and the overall guest experience. I love taking traditional koi culture and blending it with fresh, modern elements that make the show feel alive and relevant.

Under my leadership, the All-American Koi Show has expanded into a multi-day event featuring international judges, a full vendor marketplace, interactive activations, a curated Food Fest, and our high-energy Friday night party. I’ve also built out a sponsorship ecosystem that connects local businesses, national brands, and global partners with more than 20,000 attendees and hobbyists from around the world.
