
Alpha Chi Omega
My name is Marie Kasongo, and I serve as the 2026 Vice President of PR & Marketing for the Zeta Theta chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at Brown University. Our chapter consists of 57 sisters who are deeply engaged in philanthropy, raising over $3,000 annually for domestic violence prevention in partnership with a local advocacy organization, Sojourner House.
Our chapter values creativity, community, and authenticity, which is reflected in both our sisterhood programming and digital presence. We host a wide range of events that celebrate the diversity of our members’ backgrounds, interests, and cultures, including an Indian family-style dinner for Diwali, an apple-picking retreat, picnics, and karaoke nights.
On social media, we focus on creating engaging, trend-forward content that resonates with college-aged audiences. Our Instagram features a mix of dance and lifestyle reels, GRWM (Get Ready With Me) content, day-in-the-life videos, event recaps, and candid sisterhood moments. We currently have 1,500+ followers, with individual reels regularly reaching 10K–30K views, allowing us to provide meaningful visibility and engagement for brand partners.
