My name is Attiya Charrington, and I’m the founder of Girls Who Maine, a women’s social club based in Portland, Maine.
After relocating to Maine in 2023, I quickly realized that making community as an adult is HARD. That inspired me to create Girls Who Maine, a community that feels somewhere between Girl Scouts and summer camp. Last year, I hosted over 20 events ranging from archery and hiking to kayaking and volunteer opportunities, and this year we have another incredible season planned.
