I’m DiAunte’ “Blac” McBrayer, the Director of Oklahoma for The Great Energy Movement (THE GEM) — a nonprofit dedicated to elevating emotional and spiritual wellness through intentional, community-based experiences. In my role, I oversee Oklahoma programming, operations, and event production, making sure every experience reflects our mission to normalize emotional intelligence, dismantle stigma, and help people reconnect with themselves, each other, and their purpose.
I’m best known for curating healing-centered, immersive gatherings like Conversations in the Dark, which blend emotional intimacy with creative, soulful activations to create safe spaces for honest dialogue and connection. I work closely with community partners, sponsors, and collaborators to make sure each event is impactful, accessible, and intentionally designed.
I bring both strategy and heart to the work I do, and I’m passionate about creating experiences that foster meaningful connection and leave people feeling seen, heard, and supported.
