My soon-to-be sister-in-law, Lexi, is getting married, and I am organizing her bachelorette trip. Lexi has been a part of my life for the past seven years, and I am so incredibly proud to have her as a sister. She is a vibrant, loving, and incredibly strong woman. Not only has she been an amazing partner to my brother, but she is also a wonderful mother to my nephew. She brings so much energy and positivity to every room she enters.

In addition to being an extraordinary person, Lexi’s life journey has been filled with resilience. After high school, she left for Air Force boot camp, and during this time, her father was terminally ill with cancer, ultimately passing away in 2021. As much as Lexi is excited about her wedding day, she is, understandably, also missing her father, who would have been there to witness how amazing she has become—both as a woman and as a mother. It breaks my heart that he won’t be there to see her walk down the aisle.

With that in mind, I want to make this bachelorette trip as special and memorable as possible for Lexi.
