Hi everyone! My name is Brianne (Bri) Whitney, and I’m currently a junior at Baker College of Owosso in the nursing program. I’ve always loved helping others, and nursing feels like the perfect fit for me. I’m a pretty shy person at first, but once you get to know me, you’ll see I have a big heart and truly enjoy taking care of people and making them feel valued.
Right now, I work in the Memory Care Unit, and I absolutely love it. The residents have such special personalities, and it’s so rewarding to be able to care for them and brighten their day, even in small ways. Working there has taught me so much about patience, compassion, and the true meaning of what it means to be a nurse.
I’m originally from a small town called Greenville, and I think growing up in a small community really shaped who I am. It taught me the importance of kindness, hard work, and helping others whenever you can.
In the future, I hope to keep growing as a nurse and continue making a difference in people’s lives. Nursing isn’t just a job to me; it’s something I truly care about, and I feel thankful to be on this path.
