I serve as the Principal of Cotton Creek School in Island Lake, where I view my role as a wellness advocate just as much as an educational leader. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that we cannot ask our educators to pour from an empty cup, so I lead with a "mind-body" approach that prioritizes the health and resilience of my team. When I am not in the front office, I am usually outside exploring nature or seeking out my next adventure. I lead a high-energy, health-conscious lifestyle and personally rely on high-quality, "better-for-you" brands to stay fueled and focused throughout my busy days. My mission is to build a school culture that "Blooms Together" by focusing on mental clarity and genuine appreciation for the people who drive student growth. I am passionate about introducing my staff to the brands I personally trust to maintain balance and vitality, ensuring they feel as supported as the students they serve.
