Ali has been playing competitive travel baseball since he was 8 years old and now, he's preparing to enter high school in the Fall. Baseball has always been his passion and he loves playing and learning the sport. Ali hopes to have many years on the field playing this sport and also it is opening up doors for him in the future. Ali comes from a long line of baseball in his family being that his grandfather is in the National Baseball Hall of Fame (Orlando Cepeda), and his great grandfather (Pedro Cepeda) was nicknamed the “Babe Ruth of the Caribbean” and his father (Ali Cepeda Sr) also played minor league baseball for the San Jose Giants (SF Giants affiliate). Ali's nickname is “Coco” in which everyone calls him.
