Holly Cordero is a school teacher of 10 years who saw the need for growth in the contemporary music field when it comes to education. Students needed to feel like the music they were listening to was as important and valid as the “classical” music being taught in schools. Through her teaching, she created the idea of curating performances for youth musicians that are focused on the contemporary genres as well as sponsoring students to pursue their study in contemporary music.
