I'm Crystal, a Chicago-based runner and digital marketer who has spent years building brands and community-driven content online. When I'm not training for my next race, I'm exploring the city's neighborhoods and the independent businesses that make them special. The Chicago Pastry Run is where those two worlds collide — a 13.1 mile celebration of Chicago's food community, built by someone who genuinely loves both running and a really good croissant. I created this event because I wanted something that felt personal, local, and worth showing up for.
