It all began with a simple “Happy Birthday” DM on Instagram. In September 2023, Florentino messaged Danielle—and from that moment on, he never stopped. What started as a message quickly became something much more, unfolding exactly in God’s perfect timing.
Florentino and Danielle still lovingly debate what they consider their first official date—whether it was the movies or Dave & Buster’s—but Danielle is always right, and it was definitely Dave & Buster’s. Just one month later, over Valentine’s Day weekend, Florentino asked Danielle to be his girlfriend, and she happily said yes.
Another month passed, and they made things permanent in their own unique way by getting bracelets engraved with each other’s initials. It was clear early on that they had found something special and knew they wanted to spend their lives together.
Two years later, on Danielle’s birthday in September 2025, during a trip to Washington, Florentino asked Danielle if she would do him the honor of becoming his wife. Without hesitation, she said yes.
And so, with God at the center of their love, the greatest adventure has only just begun.
