My name is Deedee Behm and I am a nurse coordinator at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance, Nebraska. We are a 60-bed non-profit nursing home. We are the only nursing home in our town of 8900. We are 55 miles from any town bigger than us in the panhandle of Nebraska. We try to do over the top activities for our elderly residents that they have never seen or done. Motorcycle riding, swimming, horseback riding, C-130 flyover, Drone show, etc. We are changing the view of long term care and doing things like no one else!
