Diego is an early childhood educator whose work is driven by a deep commitment to equity, care, and community. With over five years of experience and certification as a Child Development Associate, he believes that the foundation of education lies not only in academic growth, but in nurturing relationships between children, families, and educators. His advocacy for family engagement and his knowledge of Title 22 regulations have been instrumental in helping Little Sprouts achieve WASC accreditation and state licensure—milestones that reflect his dedication to creating high-quality learning environments.

With a background in Social Work and Psychology, Diego views child development through a holistic and compassionate lens, recognizing the importance of emotional well-being alongside learning. As he completes his CCMA certification and begins his path toward becoming a Registered Nurse, he continues to expand his ability to support and care for others, both inside and beyond the classroom.
