Jason Howzell is a sports executive, educator, and event strategist with over a decade of experience building impactful athletic programs, large-scale sporting events, and community-driven initiatives. He is the Co-Founder of Dojo32, LLC, a Las Vegas–based sports and events organization focused on creating elite competition platforms, leadership development opportunities, and meaningful exposure for student-athletes.
Jason is best known as the driving force behind the Las Vegas Flag Football International Invitational, a premier multi-day tournament bringing together high school, club, and international teams from across the United States and abroad. Under his leadership, the Invitational has grown into a destination event—combining high-level competition with college recruiting exposure, media coverage, sponsorship activations, and community partnerships.
With a background in higher education and leadership studies, Jason brings a unique blend of academic insight and real-world execution to sports event management. He has taught and developed courses in leadership, communication, culture, and student success, and he consistently integrates mentorship, identity, and access into the events he builds—ensuring athletes and families gain value both on and off the field.
Through Dojo32, Jason has led partnerships with hotels, brands, universities, media outlets, and corporate sponsors, managing everything from logistics and budgeting to branding, sponsorship strategy, and fan engagement. His work emphasizes intentional design, financial sustainability, and authentic community impact.
Jason is passionate about creating the experiences he wished he had as a student-athlete—spaces where competition, opportunity, and mentorship intersect—and continues to expand Dojo32’s footprint across youth, high school, and collegiate sports.
