I’m Dylan Bradway, Vice-President of Oklahoma Mural Syndicate and Plaza Walls. As an artist, muralist and designer I value the importance of art in our communities all over the world and have been advocating for the arts in Oklahoma City since 2006.

Plaza Walls Mural Expo, a public art project run by the non-profit Oklahoma Mural Syndicate (OMS), has helped revitalize a district by transforming a once-neglected space into a vibrant art destination. OMS focuses on enriching the landscape of Oklahoma through public art projects, with Plaza Walls Mural Expo serving as our flagship platform. This prodigious event brings together talented artists from Oklahoma City and across the globe to breathe life into once-blank walls, turning them into captivating visual narratives that enhance Oklahoma’s rich cultural heritage. This year the Expo will facilitate over 45 new murals featuring 45+ local, national, and international artists in just one week. Plaza Walls serves a diverse community of over 1 million visitors annually and over 45,000 on the day of the Expo alone! Some visitors live in surrounding neighborhoods while others come from all around the world specifically to attend just one event. People from as far away as France, Ohio, and New York come to use Plaza Walls as a case study on how to implement public art projects successfully.

All of these things make the Mural Expo the perfect embodiment of OMS’s mission of advocating and creating places for self-expression and creativity through public art in Oklahoma.
