My name is Ella Sussner, and I currently serve as the Public Relations Officer at Harpur’s Ferry Student Volunteer Ambulance Service (SVAS). As an EMT-A, I’m passionate about emergency medical services and dedicated to serving my community. I’m also a pre-PA Integrative Neuroscience student, striving to deepen my knowledge and skills in preparation for a career in medicine.

In my role at Harpur’s Ferry, I focus on creating positive public awareness and fostering strong relationships with our community, ensuring that our mission of providing high-quality emergency care is well communicated. I am responsible for all outreach, fundraising, many events, and I am the de-facto Secretary fo the agency. I’m driven by a passion for healthcare, community service, and making a difference in the lives of others.

When I’m not studying or responding to calls in the Binghamton University community, you can find me working on projects that elevate the visibility of Harpur’s Ferry and advocating for health and safety in our community. I also work at another agency in Broome County as an AEMT, and I intern with the Binghamton University Office of Emergency Management. In my free time, I help lab instruct the EMT-B class, and I act as a Driver Preceptor with Harpur's Ferry, devoting time to teaching the next generation of passionate first reponders.
