My name is Emily Pizana, and I am a Community Team member at Yorba Middle School in Orange, California. I work closely with families, staff, and parent leaders to strengthen family engagement and support our school community. Our school serves a diverse student population as a Title I, dual immersion campus, and I am passionate about creating meaningful opportunities that recognize and uplift our families. I also provide students, families, and the community with valuable resources and connect them to supports that help meet their academic, social, and basic needs. I take pride in building strong relationships with our parents, especially those who consistently volunteer their time and energy to support school events, programs, and student success.
