My name is Eve McAusland. I was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus at age 13 and have struggled with its effects ever since. At one point, I lost my ability to walk for three months due to the crippling arthritis that came with the disease. My goal is to help fund research for medications that are less debilitating—because for many, the treatments can feel as overwhelming as the disease itself.
To support this mission, I’m organizing a Pickleball Tournament with an auction/raffle on June 8, 2025, with 100% of proceeds going to lupus research.
