The Gator Chapter for The Children’s Heart Foundation (GCHF) was founded in the fall of 2014, the student group GCHF has raised over $85,000 for congenital heart disease research initiatives through its Gainesville Walk for The Children's Heart Foundation at Flavet Field. GCHF is the first collegiate group to support The Children’s Heart Foundation as well as the first student group to plan a Congenital Heart Walk - a national walk series that aims to fight congenital heart disease. Commitment to our organization involves community service and monthly meetings.
