Onbrand

I’m Virginia “Gin” Haughn, a fourth-generation volunteer firefighter and Chief Engineer with the Eastport Fire Department on Long Island, NY. I’ve been in the fire service for over 10 years and also work as a firefighter with the Plum Island Fire Department. I’m passionate about training, mentoring, and creating a stronger, more inclusive fire service.

This October, I’ll be presenting “Finding Your Voice on the Fireground: Being the Firefighter Your Crew Can Count On” at the Suffolk County Fire Academy’s Women in the Fire Service event. I’m looking to partner with brands that support women, firefighters, and the hardworking volunteers who serve their communities.
