Six years ago, we started this outing to raise funds for our friend “Bearcat,” who was battling glioblastoma. After that first event, we realized how powerful the support from our community could be and decided to continue the tradition to help others in need. Sadly, this past year, Bearcat passed away after a recurrence of glioblastoma, and we have since renamed the outing in his honor.
Through our charity events, we have raised over $30,000 for organizations such as Wounded Warriors, Fisher House Foundation, the Parkinson’s Foundation, and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation. In addition, our annual golf outings have helped support individuals facing financial hardship due to medical challenges.
