Hi, I’m Melissa—Hudson’s mom and the proud supporter of Hudson’s Toy Sale. With a professional background in community service and nonprofit work, I’ve spent years organizing events, building partnerships, and working directly with families in need. But nothing has touched my heart quite like helping my son bring his own vision of kindness to life.

When Hudson was six, he saw people experiencing homelessness for the first time, and it truly rocked him. He wanted to help, so he gathered his toys and, with a few friends, held a sale to raise money. That small gesture has grown into a full-blown annual event that brings our community together and raises critical funds for local organizations fighting homelessness.

Supporting Hudson’s big heart with the skills I’ve gained professionally has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life—and a reminder of the power of compassion in action.
