imoutta is a Memphis born, Atlanta based self-taught photographer working primarily in analogue formats. Her creative journey began in 2019 with a Nikon FE, shaping a practice rooted in emotion, imperfection, and presence. A BFA graduate in Political Science from Georgia State University, she graduated with honors. Her studies aid in a craft rooted in civic consciousness and care, reinforcing her belief that images are not passive but carry memory, responsibility, power. Her work has been displayed internationally, featured in PhotoVogue, and various juried exhibitions, including Eyes on Atlanta: Black Contemporary Photography. Her work lingers not because it demands attention, but because it listens. While her presence is already global, imoutta magnifies what others miss. And she’s just getting started!
