I am a board member for Brightpaths and currently the lead auction chair for their annual Starry Starry Night Gala and Silent Auction. Brightpaths mission is to prevent all forms of child abuse and neglect.Brightpaths offers multiple programs to our community members, including newborn hospital visits, parenting classes, family support specialists, counseling, and a resource closet. In 2025 alone, Brightpaths made 3,467 home visits, 1,422 newborn hospital visits, provided over 100,000 diapers, saw a 49% reduction in CPS reports and a 70% reduction in pregnancy complications from families served.
