My name is Jody Smith, and I am hosting a charity event for Fantasy Cares in
Houston on July 6, 2024. I am seeking donations from local area companies. Merchandise, gift cards, tickets, experiences, monetary donations that will be used as silent auction items. Any type of donation would be appreciated.

Fantasy Cares is an official 501(c)(3) charity and your donation would be tax exempt. EIN 83-2801038. We can provide you with a Gift in Kind tax receipt for your donation.

A little about Fantasy Cares. We started as a fundraising group that utilized fantasy football as a way to raise money to buy toys for Toys 4 Tots each year. It grew quickly and we formed an accredited 501(c)(3) charity in 2022. In addition to our continued support of Toys 4 Tots we also support other causes such as food banks like GoPantry, Every Meal, No Kid Hungry, and Feeding America. We helped Type1 diabetes research charities like JDRF. We ran a campaign for adults with disabilities foundations like SARAH foundation. We donated to women's shelters such as Alexandria House and raised money for National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. We also supported dog rescues like NorSled Dog Rescue and Roadogs. Last year one of our live events raised money for Break the Hold, a teen suicide prevention charity. This is just a small list. Our live events aim to help local charities in each of the 35 cities we'll host them in.

We combined our passion for fantasy football and charity and have been able to support some great causes. We will be hosting Fantasy Care's headline event, the Scott Fish Bowl this summer and it will likely have 50-75 people in attendance. It is a Pro-Am Celebrity fantasy football league with nearly 4000 participants worldwide. Thank you in advance for any consideration you can offer in making this event as successful as possible.
