Kai Lingswiler is a junior at MAST Academy. As a child, Kai has spent his entire life sailing and always had a close bond with the ocean and supporting ecosystems. From a young age, he has been around coral reefs, and over the years, he came to have a deep appreciation for how wonderful and important they are. Moreover, Kai has also showed his love for the sea by giving sailing lessons to children, where he introduces kids not only to the sport but also to the world that goes around them in the ocean. Kai enjoys introducing young students to the incredible diversity of coral reefs and the significance of coral reefs to our world. Through sailing and learning, Kai has developed an appreciation for saving coral reefs and educating people on the impacts of climate change. He hopes other people will continue his passion and help preserve Miami’s astonishing ecosystem for future generations.
