Generic Theatre Company is The George Washington University's oldest Theatre Company, founded in 1985. Throughout each semester, Generic puts on a play, musical, and showcase. Generic is committed to being an active part of the student theatre community, encouraging involvement from the entire student body, whether it is tech, performance, or administrative work. There is a place for everyone in Generic! As we say, Always Generic, Never Bland.
