Laura, also known as the kelp-based mermaid, is a plant-based human seeking to share her beach-bum lifestyle and adventurous, global pursuits with the world-- all through the microcosm of the internet. Her target audience is young adults, particularly those who are trying to live a more eco-conscious lifestyle, enjoy tropical island vibes, sustainable eating, and traveling. Having grown up on the west coast of Puerto Rico, where most of her days were spent beachside, Laura has been an advocate for the planet, particularly the ocean, and its conservation since childhood.
