Kennedy Children’s Center (KCC) is a nonprofit organization providing high-quality preschool special education to more than 400 children with developmental delays and disabilities across three schools in Harlem and the Bronx. KCC provides speech, occupational and physical therapy, counseling, family support services, and workforce development through its nationally recognized Grow Your Own (GYO) program, which prepares unemployed and underemployed individuals for careers as early childhood special educators. All KCC services are provided at no cost to the families and participants we serve. As part of our commitment to supporting the dedicated educators who make our mission possible, KCC hosts its annual Wellness Day to celebrate and recognize our staff through a day of appreciation, wellness activities, community resources, food, games, and connection. Wellness Day is our way of giving back to those who give so much every day.
