Laura’s career in education has been dedicated to advocacy, equity, and empowering those who need support the most. She has served as a special education teacher, chaired a Special Education Department, overseen Title I Services, and held leadership roles as both Assistant Director and Director of Special Education. Her extensive experience and unwavering commitment to students with special needs have shaped her into a strong advocate for families and underserved communities.

Beyond her administrative work, Laura has trained teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals on effective IEP development, progress monitoring, behavior planning, and transition strategies. She is passionate about ensuring that parents understand their rights and are active, informed partners in their child’s educational journey.

This same dedication to service is what inspired Laura to create Elite Educational Foundation Inc. Through the foundation, she extends her mission beyond the classroom by organizing community outreach events that provide essential resources—such as hygiene kits, snacks, and household items—to families experiencing financial hardship. Her goal is to uplift the community, reduce stress on struggling households, and ensure that every individual feels supported, valued, and empowered.

Laura’s lifelong passion is helping people access the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive. Her work through the foundation reflects her belief that every family deserves dignity, compassion, and meaningful support.
