I am the President and Founder of the University of South Carolina GlamourGals Chapter.
GlamourGals is a national, nonprofit service organization dedicated to fighting senior loneliness through visits to nursing homes. Volunteers focus on providing nail polish makeovers while creating positive and meaningful interactions with residents.
At the University of South Carolina, we are a fairly new chapter, but have reached over 100 members from one semester alone. We plan to grow our chapter even more this upcoming semester. To gain more members, we would love to collaborate with any organization. We are looking for organizations who share the same ideals as us and want to give back to the community. Any opportunity would mean the world to our organization as these collaborations would help us advocate against senior loneliness.
