The LSA / AÉD is the official student government representing all undergraduate law students at the McGill University Faculty of Law. As a bilingual, student-run, non-profit association, we are committed to enhancing the academic, social, and professional lives of our members while promoting equity, community, and student well-being.

Each year, the LSA organizes a wide range of events — from Orientation Week and academic panels to wellness initiatives, cultural celebrations, and the iconic Skit Nite. We also support over 40 student clubs, represent student interests within faculty governance, and build bridges between students and the legal profession.

Rooted in the values of excellence, inclusion, and service, the LSA is proud to represent one of the most diverse and high-achieving student bodies in Canada. Whether we are welcoming first-year students, connecting with alumni, or collaborating with external partners, our mission is to foster a dynamic, supportive, and inspiring environment for all members of the McGill Law community.
