As Sponsorship Coordinator, I help expand our mission by building partnerships with businesses whose generosity allows us to create lasting opportunities for the next generation.

The Karen Bierly Foundation was created in honor of Karen Bierly, whose belief in giving back and the power of sports continues to guide everything we do. Our founder, Bryan Bierly, started the Foundation after losing his mother to cancer at just 21 years old. Karen, alongside her husband John, taught their three sons that no child should be held back by lack of resources. They made sure every kid on their teams—family or not—had transportation, equipment, and a chance to play.

Seeing how those small acts shaped the futures of his teammates, Bryan committed to carrying on her legacy. What began as providing sporting equipment and registration fees for disadvantaged youth in Maryland has grown into a mission to help youth and families succeed through sports, education, and exposure to new environments—through athletic, holiday, and educational events that open doors and build confidence.
