Hi! My name is Lydia Scott, and I’m a student at the University of Mississippi pursuing a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I am also an active member of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA), where I serve as the President.

NSSLHA is a student-led organization that brings together future speech-language pathologists and audiologists—students who are on the path to becoming healthcare professionals working in schools, hospitals, and clinics across the country. At our Ole Miss chapter, we host monthly membership meetings and events that give students opportunities to connect, learn, and engage more deeply in our career paths.

Our members are health-conscious, community-driven, and enthusiastic about discovering brands that align with wellness, balance, and positivity. We consistently share our chapter highlights and collaborations on social media, creating visibility across campus and within a network of students who are the next generation of healthcare workers.
