I’m María Gabriela Velasco, PhD, a clinical psychologist based in Puerto Rico and the founder of Japi Clinic. My work focuses on bringing mental health into everyday life through safe, real, and accessible experiences. I design and lead wellness spaces that integrate emotional regulation, self-care, movement, and education from a human and non-performative perspective. My mission is to normalize mental health conversations while creating meaningful experiences that support both individual well-being and community impact.
