I am a writer, poet, and community organizer. My work focuses on death, grief, and supporting my community as they navigate both. Over the past year, in partnership with the 501(c)(3) A Radical Change, I have curated and distributed grief care packages, meals, and recipes boxes for folks in Oakland, CA, through 'Grief in full Bloom'. The grieving community, in Oakland and beyond, have so few pathways for support, and our mission with 'Grief in full Bloom' is to continue to provide them much needed care.
