I am a proud South Florida native with Haitian roots, deeply inspired by my heritage and driven by a passion for community and entrepreneurship. In 2008, I achieved what many consider the "American Dream" when my family purchased a grocery store. Leaving my role at American Express, I took on the challenge of managing the business for nearly four years. Although the business ultimately closed, the experience taught me invaluable lessons about financial literacy and the challenges small businesses face.
Relocating to Utah, I worked as a banker and small business specialist at Wells Fargo, where I spent four years witnessing disparities in access to capital, especially during COVID-19 with programs like the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Motivated to make a greater impact, I joined the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity, overseeing a $69 million federally funded loan program aimed at expanding capital access to underserved small businesses.
Today, I serve full-time with Versatile Image, a nonprofit multidisciplinary creative agency that helps businesses craft authentic narratives. As a 501(c)(3), we embrace an unconventional approach, leveraging creativity to deliver innovative solutions for our clients while driving meaningful social impact.
