The Star Center is where Compassion, Technology and independence come together to create individualized success. We vision to is help any person with any disability, to realize their potential. We serve all 95 counties in the state of Tennessee, with last fiscal ending in 4,619 individuals served across the state. We have eight areas of focus at the Star Center: Music, Art and Speech Therapy, Assistive Technology, Vision Services, In-Home Care, The Reading Clinic and our Employment Department. We hole four events each year: Brunch and Bubbly our annual monthly donor event, the Flint Cox Golf Invitational which brings in 200 golfers and makes $50,000, Dancing with the STARS which brings in over 1,000 attendees and averages around $234,000 and Black Tie and Boxing which brings in over 1,500 attendees and $250,000 each year.
