Foundation Info:
The Military Spouse JD Network Foundation (MSJDNF) is the charitable education and service foundation of the Military Spouse JD Network (MSJDN). MSJDNF, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, was created to develop military spouse attorneys as professionals, teach them effective advocacy skills, and provide them with opportunities to use those skills to address the legal needs of the military and veterans communities. MSJDNF is exclusively funded by charitable donations and provides funding for educational events, pro-bono legal advice for military and veteran families, and networking opportunities for military spouses such as MSJDN’s signature events: Making the Right Moves professional development conference and the semi-annual Awards Gala.

Our current Development Director, a volunteer role, is Michelle Parker-Elliott. A military spouse since 2016, and an attorney since 2015, Michelle had to balance a high-value civil litigation career with the demands imposed upon military families, including moving 6 times in 10 years. Michelle's focus is now on parenting and volunteer work, and she is especially passionate about making sure the doorway is open for military spouse legal professionals who come after her.
