An East Coast native and current Nashville resident, Miranda Powell’s passion lies in crafting tracks that open emotional doors and build shared experiences, with vulnerability meeting infectiously danceable energy. Classically trained in piano from age five and voice at fifteen, Miranda brings a refined musicianship to her slick funk beats and vibrant grooves, blending introspective storytelling and soulful vocals with polished pop/funk production. A 2018 Commercial Piano graduate of Belmont University and Jazz Band I alumna, Miranda pulls from soul, jazz, and ’70s funk traditions, reimagining these influences through a modern pop lens.

Miranda is a frequenter of some of Nashville’s most-beloved venues (including Justin Timberlake's 12/30 Club) and currently an artist-in-residence at Chief's on Broadway, where she performed with Eric Church. Her empowerment anthem, "HIGH SCHOOL.", co-released with Nashville producer Ryan Prewett, was featured atop Spotify Editorial's Nu-Funk playlist. Drawing inspiration from the evocative songwriting of Stevie Wonder to the pop-powered grooves of Dua Lipa, Miranda blends heartfelt storytelling with glossy, stylish production that tugs on classic nostalgia.
