I'm Miya. A Creative Director, Producer, and Writer passionate about crafting culture-shifting narratives that blend beauty, entertainment, and digital innovation. I’m also the proud founder of She Got It Productions (SGIP)—a boutique creative agency dedicated to championing women-led stories with bold, visually compelling storytelling at helm of women leading in-front-of and behind the camera. At SGIP, every project carries that "It Factor"—that undeniable spark, that commands attention that can’t quite be defined.
I’m beyond excited about the opportunity to ideate a social-first campaign for Topicals—not just as a Creative Director, but as a loyal customer. Like millions of Love Island fans, I was captivated by Serena Page, Jana Craig, and Leah Kateb—better known as PPG. When they dubbed themselves PPG—an instant nostalgic nod to the Powerpuff Girls—I instantly saw the connection to Topicals’ bold, vibrant aesthetic. Their friendship, confidence, and effortless glow made them instant icons. Topicals’ emphasis on clean beauty that caters to women of all complexions, instantly made it a beauty item must-have. The way they redefined sisterhood on reality TV mirrors what Topicals has done for skincare: breaking the mold, celebrating individuality, and making self-care fun.
Topicals x PPG Summer: Back on Top All Summer
I envision a high-impact social campaign that merges:
✔ Visual Narrative Storytelling – A digital-first commercial that immerses audiences in PPG’s post-Love Island glow-up, infused with the signature wit and confidence that made them fan favorites.
✔ CGI-Driven Instagram Moments – Hyper-stylized visuals that blur the lines between beauty, fantasy, and nostalgia, pushing the boundaries of digital storytelling.
✔ Editorial Brand Photoshoot – Cinematic, campaign-worthy imagery that cements Topicals as the go-to brand for millennial and Gen Z beauty enthusiasts.
This campaign isn’t just about celebrating PPG’s one-year summer anniversary outside the villa—it’s about keeping them “Back on Top” (as they always say) with Topicals leading the way. By combining nostalgia, femininity, girlhood, friendship, summer adventures, and innovative storytelling, I know I could create campaigns that don’t just stop the scroll—they drive engagement, build community, and turn cultural moments into brand movements.
