MS 104 PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN#: 20-8025319) that works to support the MS 104 Simon Baruch Middle School.
MS 104 is a highly regarded public middle school on East 21st Street in Manhattan, serving more than 1,000 students in grades 6–8 from neighborhoods stretching from Midtown to Battery Park and beyond. We are proud to be a richly diverse community—socially, economically, and racially—where 40% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
At MS 104, we believe that all students can achieve their best when provided with a safe and supportive learning environment and appropriate academic challenges. Our scaffolding-based teaching approach consistently prepares students to thrive at many of NYC’s most competitive high schools.
Unfortunately, the NYC Department of Education does not fully fund the programs and resources that make this possible. The MS 104 PTA works hard to bridge the funding gap so that our students and teachers have the tools they need to succeed.
