The Natural Sciences Council (NSC) is the official voice of students in the College of Natural Sciences at UT Austin. Representing over 10,000 students, NSC works to strengthen the connection between students, faculty, and administration by advocating for student needs and ensuring the CNS community is heard at every level of decision-making. Through leadership, service, and representation, NSC plays a vital role in shaping the student experience across one of the largest colleges on campus.

Beyond advocacy, NSC creates opportunities for students to build community, develop as leaders, and engage with the college in meaningful ways. From hosting large-scale events like Natural Sciences Week and faculty-student lunches, to providing resources for academic and professional development, NSC strives to foster inclusivity, collaboration, and growth. With a focus on community, wellness, and student success, NSC empowers CNS students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
