I have been playing professional badminton since I was about 12 years old - traveling both nationally and internationally to represent the USA in tournaments. I am still playing and training, although not as much as I used to because I am currently a full-time law student at Suffolk University Law School! I also got married just last year (after my 1st year of law school) to my high school sweetheart.
I primarily share my life as an athlete‑student on Instagram, where I create content around training and tournament results. I’m passionate about sharing my very unique lifestyle as a competitive badminton athlete in law school, and self‑care is a huge part of that story. Most of the professional badminton players in the US live on the west coast, and are financially and otherwise able to dedicate their whole lives to training and traveling to tournaments, and by sharing my story, I want people to know that just because you’re not following the “usual” path in your life or career, that doesn’t mean that you can’t do it.
