This August, we are taking the next step in our journey with The Open Door Club by SANCTUAIRE — a two-week pop-up experience in Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard inspired by the historic Open Door Club founded in 1939 by Edna Smith and Louise Harper. Originally created as a welcoming gathering place for Black seasonal workers, the club became known for its spirit of hospitality and community. Through SANCTUAIRE, we are honored to reimagine that legacy for a new generation.

For more many years, Martha's Vineyard has been a place of inspiration and restoration. The Open Door Club is our opportunity to create something meaningful in a place that brings joy to millions who visit.
