Parkside Portraits is a community-centered nonprofit organization founded by Dallas photographer and visual storyteller Jessica Taylor. Established in August 2024, the organization was created around a simple belief: everybody deserves a portrait.

Through free and donation-based portrait experiences, Parkside Portraits photographs individuals, families, artists, elders, and neighbors while helping preserve the people and stories that shape our communities. The organization uses portraiture as a tool for visibility, connection, and cultural preservation, creating meaningful visual archives that allow everyday people to feel seen and celebrated.

Parkside Portraits has hosted portrait experiences in parks, museums, cultural spaces, and community events. Each activation is designed to make professional portraiture more accessible while creating opportunities for people to gather, connect, and document their personal histories with dignity and care.
