All for Pete Sake
My name is Phillip Bailey and my story started in March of 1968 when I was adopted by the man in the picture and his wife. His given name was Walter Phillip Bailey, but he was always called Pete by family and friends. What a journey we had until his passing on Sept 9th of 2021. He never stopped loving me and believing in me no matter how much trouble I was in. If not for him and all his love, I wouldn’t be here for the next journey of love we are going to share in honor of his name. He bailed me out of jail, paid tickets, fines, rent, car payments and trust me the list continues. On December 4th 1998 I finally had hit the bottom and I begged him to get me help. So at 31, I was living with my parents and going to outpatient rehabilitation and AA meetings everyday. Since I had no driver’s license he was taking me to do all this while still working. (As I write this in 2024, I’m almost 26 years sober). When you get in trouble life continues around you even if you want it to stop. All for Pete Sake wants to help as many people as possible with bills and payments while they are in recovery and getting back on their feet…….
